Ballet offers the technical foundation for all dance genres. It's smooth and graceful style, along with technical disipline is key for developing a dancers potential. Available for all ages and highly recommended!
Pointe is a genre specialized for elite ballet students who perform ballet in pointe shoes. Pointe is available for those at adequate examination level.
Jazz offers an energetic and stylized form of dance. Jazz incorporates many showstopping jumps and turns and aims to highlight the personalities of the dancers. Available to all ages.
Tap dance is a rhythmic art form where the dancer uses their feet to create rhythm patterns. Tap can portray many different styles. Available for all ages.
Lyrical is a fusion of balletic qualities and jazz elements. Lyrical is about storytelling and sending an important message to the audience. Available to those at the Junior level and above.
Contemporary is a modern style of dance that offers unique expression and storytelling. The Contemporary genre is known for its originality and creativity in style between each piece. Contemporary is a genre offered to those at the Intermediate level and higher.
HipHop is a street style of dance that differs from many other genres for its unique style. HipHop is available to all levels. HipHop is also offered for non-competitive dancers.
Acro is a unique form of dance fusing dance with acrobatics. Acrobatic tricks are the focus of this genre with dance steps blending the choreography together. Acro classes are offered for both competitive and non-competitive dancers.
Musical Theatre is a genre that incorporates dance steps with vocals and acting. Our Musical Theatre classes are sure to bring a little piece of Broadway to Unity! Available for ages six and up to participate!
